We have organised three main social events to help you to relax and network.

Welcome Reception and Cocktails
5pm to 7pm Wednesday 13 September
Held in the beautifully refurbished Council Chambers, this event will provide delegates and other invited guests a chance to network with each other, catch up with old friends and acquaintances over a drink or two and sample some yummy hors d'oeuvres. Wellington's Mayor (and strong business supporter), Mark Blumsky, will formally launch the conference and welcome delegates to Wellington. Other entertainment will be provided to make this a memorable and pleasant event for you.

You might then like to move on to Courtenay Place, Wellington's world famous concentration of restaurants, cafes and bars, for a meal or night-cap before heading home to bed.

Gala Dinner
7.30pm to 9.30pm Thursday 14 September
Overlooking Wellington and its beautiful harbour, the Boat Shed is the venue of choice for our Gala Dinner. A sumptuous meal prepared by one of Wellington's best loved chefs and accompanied by fine wine, this part of the evening will give you a chance to relax and talk over the day's issues with your contemporaries and friends.

Lost In Space Theme Party
9.30pm Thursday 14 September to 1am Friday 15 September
Following straight on from the Gala Dinner will be a party to satisfy the most avid party animal. Dressed to kill as a Klingon, Princess Leia or maybe Darth Vader, the more adventurous will turn heads for sure. But if looking funny isn't your idea of fun, dancing to one of the best bands playing some of the best dancing music you're likely to hear will burn off the calories accumulated over the previous few days.
