Description of Organisation
Be part of a new of model in developing and delivering high quality HR to the Agencies at the heart of Executive government. The State Services Commission, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and The Treasury are establishing a shared service in Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology and Information Management. Hosted within the Treasury the HR team will provide both strategic and operational HR and organisational development to all three agencies. Shared services is a challenging and exciting new initiative for the three agencies and we need talented and high performing HR professionals in both permanent and fixed term positions to help us develop, implement and deliver successfully. Description of Position
If you are an experienced OD Manager with a great track record in organisational change and development, this new position could be for you. Working closely with the HR Advisory team the OD and Change team will play a key part in supporting change initiatives. In this role you will also support overall organisational performance through a range of projects, strategies and initiatives. Key areas of focus will include culture, leadership and talent management. The successful applicant will have leadership skills to not only lead a small team but to ensure engagement across HR and the business to deliver on challenging work programmes. Key areas of accountability for the role include leading sustainable programmes of activity in organisation development, talent management, culture, capability, leadership and change.

Technical Competencies
Relevant tertiary qualification in organisational development, organisational management, human resources, psychology or a related field Management experience in the public sector, preferably at senior level Experience in HR strategy development and deployment Substantial skills in the application of organisational development, organisational performance at a senior level Sound experience in strategic management of organisational change
