Description of Position
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded HR practitioner passionate about HR, to truly make a difference within this market leading organisation, during a time of positive change.
Key Areas of Responsibility
As Head of People and Capability, you will be expected to provide leadership of HR and OD activities and processes such as; Strategic human resource planning and management, remuneration, job evaluation, recruitment, employment relations, organisational design, change management, talent management, leadership and culture, diversity, training and development, and performance management.
Behavioural Competencies
You will be instrumental in developing and managing the Company’s employment brand and supporting policies, strategies and programmes to attract and retain competent people to deliver the Company’s strategic business plan. In addition, you will help create and sustain a safe and high-performing culture within the company which aligns with the Company’s values and enables successful achievement of business and strategic goals, including the imperative for a safe and healthy workplace.
Technical Competencies
Of key importance in this role will be your ability to ensure the performance management framework is strategically aligned and that staff understand performance expectations and have the necessary knowledge, skills and support to successfully meet individual, team and organisational business objectives. Relationship management skills are paramount to your success and you will be expected to develop effective relationships with leaders and managers throughout the business to identify organisational needs and build a People & Capability practice that supports the organisation. You will have a proven track record as a successful leader and will assume responsibility for leading a team of engaged, competent and motivated staff to achieve the business goals of the Company.
