Brannigans is an established South Island Consultancy practice offering expertise to local, national and international clients across executive recruitment, organisational development, employment law, business and human resource consultancy, restructuring and career transition support. To support our growing client base, we wish to appoint two motivated professionals to join our Employment Law and Human Resource Consulting teams to work in partnership with some of New Zealand’s leading businesses.

Description of Position

• Executive Level Positions

Your primary responsibilities will be to provide practical advice to clients on a wide range of employment law issues including performance management, disciplinary actions, personal grievances, restructures, strikes and lock outs, and employment legislation. You will also be responsible for negotiating and drafting employment agreements and HR policies, representing clients in mediations and in the Employment Relations Authority, where necessary.

To be successful in this role you will need to have an up to date knowledge of employment legislation, the ability to think strategically and provide clients with business focused solutions. You will need to be a self starter with the ability to work independently and a strong desire to achieve. Your track record will also demonstrate high energy levels, professionalism, the ability to multitask with a dedicated client focused approach. You will need to be capable of providing advice at CEO/Board level. A legal qualification is necessary along with business development skills.
