Description of Position

The New Zealand welfare system is about to undergo one of its most significant reforms of the past 50 years. Changing the way we deliver services to our clients has substantial impacts for our almost 4000 staff based in over 140 sites around the country.
You will work at a senior management level leading the HR programme for the Welfare Reform changes. We are looking for an experienced HR manager with a specialist interest in workforce planning and organisational development.
Your project management experience will enable you to develop a clear workplan and manage project resources and budgets to achieve outcomes for Work & Income.
While your focus is the HR programme for Welfare Reform, you will also be part of an energetic and collaborative, customer centric Work and Income HR team. You also have access to specialist HR practitioners that are part of the wider HR community across MSD.
Please note it is likely that some domestic travel will be involved.
