Sheffield is a long established, leading New Zealand human resource consultancy. The search and selection team undertakes assignments to appoint Directors, Chief Executives, senior managers and functional specialists to key roles across the entire spectrum of New Zealand’s corporate and public organisations. Due to continued growth, Sheffield South Island now has a requirement for a new Executive Recruitment Researcher to join our busy and successful Christchurch based team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The role is primarily responsible for researching and identifying high-calibre candidates to meet specific client needs in a diverse and talent-scarce market. This involves extensive research work both locally, nationally and internationally, working closely with consultants and clients to determine and address the specific demands and parameters of each assignment. Projects vary significantly in scale, complexity and geographic reach, requiring the use of a variety of research methods, tools and techniques together with a sound balance between teamwork and autonomy.

We seek tertiary qualified candidates who have an interest in or experience of research or knowledge management and who are highly organised and detail focused. A strong team ethic and a passion for learning and understanding new industries and organisational cultures is required, as is a significant focus on delivering quality results. Initiative, confidence and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple assignments are also essential. Full-time, part-time or flexible working arrangements will all be considered.
