HR Advisor (Job No 007193) Dunedin/Invercargill Full Time/Fixed Term Our Human Resources Group at Southern District Health Board has a number of initiatives that it is undertaking at the moment. As we move towards further developing our organisation into one DHB and strive towards being the most desirable DHB to work for in New Zealand. HR Advisory within the public health environment offers a fast paced, often challenging and complex workload, working within the Change Team in this full time, fixed term position of two years you’ll support line managers and the wider organisation in HR best practice – timely, expert and accurate advice is offered on a broad range of issues surrounding proposals of change, Job Descriptions, in-depth employment legislation interpretation and practice, consultation with unions, change management – the works! Completely comfortable functioning across all levels of our organisation, working alongside a range of HR professionals, this dedicated advisory role requires a professional and strategically savvy generalist practitioner who brings a minimum of 5 + years experience in a similar Senior Generalist HR Advisory role within a large and complex organisation with some expertise across the spectrum of change management. This is a fixed term position which will be for up to two years. Experience in a Health setting is preferred but not essential, as is a certification in the Lominger tool.
