Description of Position
Following a restructure that will see core HR services return to mine sites, an excellent opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic administrator to join the Human Resources team based at our Reefton operation. Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, you will play an integral role in providing effective administrative assistance and support to the site HR team whilst utilising relevant HR management systems. This is a chance to join a dynamic team with a culture that supports and encourages initiative and team work, and will suit a challenge driven individual.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The primary responsibilities for this role are: • Assisting the HR team with coordination and administration of recruitment, training and employment relations activities • Creation of employee-related documentation • Maintenance of employee records • Updating relevant databases to support the HR team with compliance requirements.
Behavioural Competencies
To be successful for this role you will have prior administration experience, a high level of accuracy and efficiency, and effective communication skills, both written and interpersonal, across all levels of an organisation. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft office is essential and an understanding of HR systems and practices is preferred. The desire to provide a high level of customer service is crucial as is your maturity when dealing with confidential information.
