Description of Position
Reporting into the HR Manager who is based in Auckland, this HR generalist role will require you to hit the ground running within a fast paced retail environment, providing a wide variety of HR support to our management and team in Christchurch, especially within recruitment. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the retail or hospitality sectors. You will have a true passion for recruitment as this will be a focus within this generalist role. Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business are key to your success, as will be the demonstrated ability to multi-task, be extremely organised, and most importantly have fun when the pressure is on. Key Areas of Responsibility
The HR Advisor will help facilitate an employee-oriented, high performance culture through: Managing the end to end recruitment process Supporting our Christchurch Airport Retail operation by providing accurate and timely HR advice to management. Establishing yourself as a key point of contact for HR related policy advice. Coaching and mentoring our Management team as well as providing support on any ER issues that arise. Supporting the Managers and staff through the performance review and development process Support the implementation of Training and Development initiatives
