Description of Organisation
The Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment is a new business-facing agency whose purpose is to be a catalyst for creating a high-performing economy to ensure New Zealand's lasting prosperity and wellbeing.
Description of Position
This position will work within the People stream as part of the Transition Team for MBIE. The coordinator will support the Change Team to ensure coordination, adminstration and other processes operated by the Change Team are undertaken effectively and meet the needs and goals of the team.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Coordinating advertisement, sign-off's, loading job advertisements onto job websites (including in-house e-recruitment tool).
Liaising with Managers, applicants, change team and other interested parties for all parts of the recruitment process.
Interview and travel (where applicable) arrangements including diary management of the recruitment panel.
Preparation of employment agreements and other relevant documentation.
Updating the people database as relevant appointments are made.
Can do attitude, abilty to be flexible and pragmatic.
Ability to work under pressure, sense of urgency and ability to priortise work.
Discreet, tactful and respectful in handling confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal and team work skills , lending a hand where necessary to get the job done.
Proven track of experience in HR or recruitment administration.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including word, excel and mail merge.
Experience in using e-recruitment (prefered).
Applicant must have a legal right to work in NZ
Note: Membership of HRINZ is desirable.
