Hutt City Council is a high performing organisation and is looking for a person who is self motivated and passionate about HR to join their small and committed HR team.
Description of Position
This substantial Senior HR Consultant role is responsible for leading end to end people initiatives. You will have the opportunity to utilise your well developed coaching and leadership skills and will be reporting to the Divisional Manager, HR who in turn reports directly to the CE.
Key Areas of Responsibility
This broad based role covers the spectrum of Generalist HR, ER, and OD projects. You will have the opportunity to use your excellent judgment skills and business maturity to align, drive and roll-out robust and effective people management practices. Particular areas of focus include performance improvement, remuneration (as the team specialist), ER, and business as usual HR, in addition to involvement in OD projects.
Capability in the following areas is sought:
• Generalist HR background
• Proactive and action oriented
• Highest levels of customer service
