Description of Position
As an HR Advisor at WDHB you will be providing best practise HR advice and expertise to management, and staff. You will work as a business partner responsible for your own service portfolio, providing HR support in relation to the interpretation and application of HR policies, legislation as well as other transactional HR issues.
The pace is busy and the work can often be complex so you must be able to prioritise your workload and deliver within the timeframes set by business demand. Key to your success will be your ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple tasks. You will also have:
Excellent communication skills and good analytical capabilities
Exceptional attention to detail
The ability to problem solve to a positive outcome
A tertiary qualification in HR/or one in progress
Minimum 3 years in a generalist HR role
Preferred - HR experience in a unionised environment
The small and high functioning HR team is led by a supportive manager and is based adjacent to the North Shore Hospital campus, Takapuna.
