Excellent Human Resources practice requires great knowledge, skill, experience and continuing professional development. The Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ) has introduced Chartered Memberships in order to recognise the contribution and relevance of the human resources profession in the New Zealand workplace and to acknowledge their professional status of suitably qualified human resources practitioners.

HRINZ members and the wider Human Resources community have told us the profession needs to raise the bar with a simple, easily identifiable and robust professional standard for human resources practitioners in New Zealand. You have wanted a standard in place that will enable employers to feel confident in choosing the right people to lead their people practices and organisations into the future. HRINZ aims to build the profile of Chartered Membership to differentiate our Institute in the marketplace. We are confident that it will assist Chartered Members greatly in advancing their careers.
