Academic Professional Membership Application Process

ACADEMIC PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION

1. Applying for Academic Professional Accreditation

Application for Academic Professional Membership is a formal process completed online (see Forms). All applicants using the online application form must provide evidence of their academic HRM teaching, experience and competence by submitting a full CV, teaching evaluations and any other supporting documentation such as references, academic transcripts etc.

2. Submitted Applications for Professional Accreditation

The HRINZ Academic Grading Panel will review your application. You will be kept informed on the progress of your application. They may contact you to seek further clarification.

The HRINZ Academic Grading Panel decision is recommended to the HRINZ Board for ratification. The period of time from receipt of your application to final decision typically takes four to eight weeks.

If your application is successful, you will be informed of the decision by letter from the HRINZ National President.

If your application is unsuccessful, you will be advised in writing and provided suggestions for your career development to enable you to submit a successful application in the future.

Unsuccessful applicants have the right to appeal against the Academic Grading Panel's decision.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

All personal information received by HRINZ and the Grading Panels relating to a member’s application for Professional Membership will be collected, used and stored in compliance with the Privacy Act 1993.
