Coaching Using Positive Psychology
12.00pm - 1.00pm
John Eatwell, Strategic HR
Organisational coaching is generally focused on bringing out the best in someone or improving a weakness. Thus, positive psychology (which focuses on strengths and adopts a strengths approach to weaknesses) is at least complementary to all coaching efforts, and critical to many. Rather than representing a 'fluffy' approach, positive psychology is well supported in research for the benefits it provides to the individual and the organisation. This webinar will show you ways to adapt your organisational coaching to incorporate positive psychology techniques.
What would participants gain from attending the Webinar?
Enhanced understanding of the philosophy of positive psychology
New ways to think about the practice of coaching
Some specific techniques which can be incorporated in coaching (and which are useful for you too!)
