Susan Doughty will present a practical road map for determining the gender pay gap in your own organisation and will equip you to understand how to peel back the layers of analysis to determine the key actions you can take to close the gap.

Participants will develop an understanding of the key underlying drivers of the gender pay gap, and how they can conduct their own analysis to determine the root cause in their own organisation.

Susan is a Partner in the Talent & Reward practice. She is responsible for the delivery of executive reward and broad based remuneration services to the New Zealand market including management of EY’s remuneration survey offering. Before joining EY, she was a Director of dsd Consulting Ltd, Remuneration Specialists.

Susan has over 25 years’ experience in senior Human Resources and Reward specialist roles and is recognised as an industry expert in the design of contemporary reward strategies and solutions. She is a certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP).

Susan takes an active role in building remuneration as a specialisation in New Zealand, and has held the position of Executive Manager of the New Zealand Remuneration Network for the past six years. Susan is also involved in diversity initiatives having partnered with the NZ Asian Leaders Network, YWCA and UNWEPS in the provision of research and advisory services.

Susan is a member of the Institute of Directors. She is also the Pay Equity Advisor to the YWCA and designed the inaugural NZ Equal Pay Awards 2014 to support the YWCA’s Pay Equity Campaign. Susan is an active Mentor of young aspiring women through the University of Auckland Business School.

Susan is a keen tennis player and attends the gym when she can.
