Strategic Application Of e-Knowledge

More and more companies are looking to align their learning objectives for their employees' professional and personal development within an e-learning forum. 

It is HR responsibility to ensure that the learning objectives for professional development are aligned to the corporate business objectives and strategy, this will ensure that employee performance/productivity will contribute to organisational objectives leading to organisational sucess.

As if the e-learning objectives are not linked to the organisations strategy or issues being faced then the learning objectives or outcomes will not be fully utilised or implemented to their potential. In essence, HR needs to exhibit strategic awareness of technology's linkage to the business plan and the application of e-knowledge available, along with how, where and when to implement this technology for maximum benefit.
