Wendy Betteridge

F7 Think Like a Winner

Wendy Betteridge, Principal,
Lasting Impact Limited

Thinking like a winner is a life’s work. It’s about always believing that you will succeed. It’s about having only that thought or that set of thoughts in your mind. And being a winner doesn’t mean that someone else is a loser. Being a winner means being the very best you can be, irrespective of what is going on around you. You can be a winner in your chosen field of human resource management as you can in any other area of your life, as a parent, a friend, a sports person, an entrepreneur.

The secret is so simple. If you want to think and act like a winner, you can learn how when you hear Wendy speak.

This session looks at what a winner is. It will then move on to all or any of the following concepts

  • Exploring self doubt and how this can limit us
  • Exploring personal values.
  • Determining your future based on your irresistible goals and then making that future happen.
  • Developing a circle of excellence.
  • Learning the importance of preparation and practice.
  • Having no thought in your head except that of‘winning.’

Wendy Betteridge's
life’s purpose is to empower herself and others and help people (who want to) to achieve their full potential. Wendy believes there is a genius in us all. She helps people to find the genius within themselves.

Wendy spent the seven years prior to starting her own business as the Personnel and Training Manager of a major national law firm in New Zealand, responsible for the needs of 180 partners and staff. By 1993 it was time to pursue her life’s purpose.

Wendy thrives in leadership positions. She is the principal of Lasting Impact Limited, specialising in training design and delivery. She is a professional keynote speaker, author, corporate coach, workshop and conference facilitator and training designer. She is a member of the National Speakers Association and its Wellington Chapter President. Members of NSA are ‘experts who speak’.

As a former international sporting representative Wendy likes, and expects, to win. She is living proof of the power of the ‘mental edge’. Better still, she knows how to instil that edge in others.
