This course will focus on how to dramatically reduce absenteeism by addressing factors that contribute to sick leave, like bullying and stress.
We will discuss how to deal with suspected ‘sickies’ and abuse of sick leave. Find out how to engage in ‘carefrontation’ with staff to reduce absenteeism.
Our employment lawyer will guide you on best practice for supporting staff on their return to work. We will respond to health and safety queries, like when can you require a staff member to take sick leave?
If extended sick leave is disrupting your workplace, find out how to follow proper processes for terminating for medical retirement or medical incapacity, with case law for guidance.
