This course sets out strategies to engage and motivate a multi-generational workforce and overcome challenges of generational diversity.  
For the first time in history, there are 5 different generations within the New Zealand workforce.
Find out how you can manage opportunities and overcome the challenges of generational diversity – including exceptionally high levels of staff over 60 and the struggle to retain younger workers.

Course Overview
If you are facing challenges managing or motivating a multi-generational workforce, this course is your guide to effectively engage different generations at work.
In this course, participants will identify and compare key characteristics of the five different generations in the workplace.
Find out how to motivate, retain and value our mature workforce and millennials, or else face a decreased labour supply and a skill shortage.
Recognise the benefits of motivating Millennials, Gen Z, and mature workers for greater productivity and retention.
Discover how to communicate with different generations for business and client success.
We will answer questions like: How do you adapt work and create opportunities for mature workers? 
Through discussion and case scenarios, course participants will explore how to manage the challenge of generational diversity in your workplace for better working relationships and productivity.

What to expect:
This virtual course is an interactive seminar with questions and answers and case scenarios.
Join Employment Lawyer and HR facilitator Julia Shallcrass on this live and virtual half day course. Concepts and theories will be introduced and explained, then applied through scenarios and discussions.
Attendees will receive a digital workbook with activities and guidance on engaging a multi-generational workforce. Attendees can ask questions in our Q&A and connect with other attendees in polls and group activities.

Cancellation Policy
An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the course starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.
A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the course.
Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the course.

Julia Shallcrass
